How Much Cremaffin Is To Be Taken While Suffering From Ulcerative Colitis?

Hi My mother is 85yrs old, bedridden,treated for ulcerative colitis one month back,on cremaffin sy.10ml at bed time.Taking semi liquid diet.How many times can give cremaffin.Not passing motion daily.What diet can be given.Can give any vegetables and fruits

Hello,

Yes, you can give any vegetables and fruits. Give rich fiber diet, plentiful oral water, and cremaffin 20 ml with lukewarm water at night. It can be increased if it does not give optimum results. Intermittently PC Enema can be used.
