General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You can take a dose in between 300 to 2400 mg/day. It is always better to take 2400 mg per day as prescribed by the physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kaushik Talukdar
