How Much Pain Is Too Much For A Scoliosis And Spinal Stenosis With Herniated Disc Person?

I have Scoliosis and Spinal Stenosis as well as a herniated disc in my lumbar. I had a cortizone shot 3 months ago, but after less then 2 months it started to wear off. I want to know how much pain is too much pain before I go back to the hospital? I have been experiencing periods of time where I lose sensation, feel tingling, or have intense sharp, shooting pain in my limbs. I have fallen because of the intensity on numerous occasions. I have gotten to a point where the only rest can get is from a pain pill that does not actually help ease the pain, but makes me so drowsy that I fall asleep. I want to know what I can do to stop hurting as much.
