How Much Protein Intake Is Advised For Type 2 Diabetes?

I am Babu Rao aged 38 yrs, I have type 2 Diabetic, My weight is 67 kgs, 5'9 height. I take Glimstar M2 twice a day. I workout (gym) one hour every day.
Can I workout on cardio and other exsercise to gain muscule, If yes how much of protein should I take every day.

Babu Rao Grau.i understand your concern.in my opinion your are doing good exercise daily to built up your muscle.kindly make sure that kidney is ok before taking good amount op protein.check serum creatin urea,GFR,and urine micro albumin if every thing is fine you can consider taking 1.4 to 1.8 gms of protein per day.it will come to 100-110 gms per day.in other terms one egg white will give 6gms of protein.
100 gms dal contain 2.6 g protein.
100gms chicken contain 25 g protein.
usually people with diabetes having poor renal function we will advise protein restriction to 0.8 g/ kg body wt/ day
