How Much Weight Should One Gain During Pregnancy?

Hi! I am pregnant in week 31 and have only gain 6-7kg I am 1.73 cm and my weight before becoming pregnant was 64 kg. I am worried that I gained to little and that it is dangerous for the baby. But I am eating 6 times a day so I am not on a diet or so.

Hi! Welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.

Based on the history you have shared, though by these calculations you are not that under weight but still 2-3 kg more would have been better.

Apart from babies weight since anabolic hormones are at peak so body should respond with wieght gain. But it's not that inadequate either. You should use supplements for folic acid, calcium, and B complex. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
