How Must A Lump Behind The Ear Be Treated?

i noticed a lump behind/under my left ear months ago. with in the last month it has gotten bigger and i have a cooling sensation in my ear, pain in the left side of my head and numbness in my left cheek. all blood work came back fine. doing excersises with my jaw and on a steroid for inflamation and waiting for insurance approval for a ct scan

Hello,
Yes you need to get done a CT scan .
Getting cooling sensation , numbness over the cheek shows some nerve problem.
There could be a mass which is causing the problem.
There could be involvement of the facial nerve. The nerve pass from inside the ears then below it.
If there is pressure on it then it could cause numbness.
