my 3 year old burned the pads of her fingers with a flat iron. I put an ice pack on her fingers, I have given her a bottle (she has been off of them but asked for one). She has calmed down a bit, but I am wondering if a doctor could do anything that I am not doing for her now.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have skin burns. I would suggest you to massage your scar daily with a moisturizer cream , this will help collagen circulation to the site of the scare. this will help collagen to be evenly disturbed through skin. collagen is fundemintal to healing of scars, apply a sunscreen on your scars when you are going out. UV rays cause scars to darken . use a sun screen with spf 50 or more, eat plenty of vitamin c and zinc enriched food as citrus fruits, nuts, broccoli, cryosurgery is also a line of treatment , done by a plastic surgery to remove damaged tissues. Also use cold compresses if there is itching and irritation. Consult dermatologist if symptoms persists.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
