How Often Can Metal-P Be Administered For A Child When Fever Is Not Subsiding?

Hi doctor...my son was affected by heavy fever still three days doctor recommended meftal p syrup use it when high fever time only he said...I used at 7.40 pm night 5ml and now time was 4 am now my son has 102 degree fever...my son was 4 years old..shall I use now this syrup sir?
