Angiography is not a painful procedure. It's a minor procedure and local anesthesia is given, so pain is not felt. Wire is inserted in the artery and folded pipe called as stent is inserted and is opened with the help of balloon. Patient will be released on same day evening or next morning. So it's a safe procedure.
