How Safe Is Asthalin Syrup For An One Month Old Infant?
Hello dr ,my baby is 1 month 16 days and suffering from cold n cough .and I am also having the same cold n cough.she is not any other problem but my paediatrician recommend Asthalin syrup and nebulization for a day.is this medicine Asthalin safe for my baby as I heard that this is for only asthma patient. Suggest me plz.....
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Asthalin medication contains Salbutamol, which is known to help in ease of respiration by its bronchodilator effect. It can be used for an infant of 1 month while having respiratory problems due to cough and cold. However, you should not use more than the dose what has been recommended.
