How Safe Is Klim Formula Milk Powder For A 6 Month Old Infant?
My baby is 5 months old she going to turn 6 months end of this month. I want to know if I could feed my baby klim powder milk. I am looking for different options, because I hear that rice cereal would get her constipated. I just want something that could get her full for longer periods of time. She drink formula 5 or 6 onz and she is feeding every 3 to 4 hours.
Klim is usually for older children and would not give her the nutrients that she needs at this stage.
Cereals contain fiber which promotes bowel movements so the rice cereal is fine for a start or introduction to food. Important to remember that she still needs milk most of all because it would help with brain growth and development but if she takes the cereal then can start slowly with other foods.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
