How Safe Is It To Get A Cortisone Shot During Pregnancy?

I have injured my rotator cuff and in two weeks I am supposed to get a cortisone shot in my shoulder. I also have had sex and ovulated (a few days ago). Should I hold off getting a shot since I do want to become pregnant or is a one time shot now going to be ok. I wouldn't go except my shoulder is pretty painful at this point.

Steroids are strictly avoided during pregnancy and unless completely required, they are not advised. Please visit your doctor who will weigh the pros vs the cons and only then decide, as your pregnancy is much more.important.
