How Safe Is Taking Benadryl While On Tylenol?

My husband has an artificial heart valve and is on warfarin. He has a cold or allergies with a runny nose, watery eyes and a headache. He took a Tylenol for the headache. Is it safe to take a low dose of Benadryl to see if it helps relieve the other symptoms?

Benadryl syrup has no known adverse interaction with warfarin.
You can take a low dose safely.
