How Safe Is Taking Cephalexin For Bumps At Back Of The Throat?

I have little white pockets in the back of my throat by my tonsils and I got bumps in the back of my mouth what can this be it s been going on for 3 to 4 days now. I ve been tested for strep throat and it came back negativeand the doctor put me on prescription called cephalexin what are my options?

Hello,
The pockets are called crypts. Food particles can lodge in those crypts. They can cause recurrent tonsillar infections. Daily gargling with salt water and acid reduction will eventually gives relief.
