How Safe Is Taking Northisterone For Delay In Periods?

I'm 17 years old and im having irregular periods.This is really worrying me its been 2 months and 5 days since my last period.I Norethisterone 5mg for 5 days but im not sure if i should take it or not, she only gave it to me because im very stressed about not getting my period. Do you advise me to take it?
