How Safe Is Taking Sildenafil Citrate For Erectile Dysfunction?
Hi Team, Greetings!!
I am 28 years old. I had Cardio arrest at the age of 23 years. Till then I am taking Cardio medicine regularly. Few months back, i found that I had "ED" problem. I checked number of sites & found that Lack of physical activity can cause this. i Started work out & found some improvement. I had to take support of 'Slidenafil Citrate' and I have overcome my problem. But I afraid that it may be just a workaround & may be on the Later stage, it will also stop making effects. I dont face any side effect till now. Please suggest, as these tablets also cause Heart attack & I am aleady vulnerable.
My Objective to reach you, if you can suggest any other medicine/salt, which does not have side effects in long run & is equally effective.
Hello and welcome to HCM. As you've rightly doubted, as a cardiac patient, Sildenafil is best avoided. As an Urologist, we never prescribe Sildenafil to cardiac patients. You can also check with your cardiologist, regarding safety of the medicine, as you've not mentioned, your present medication. If you've any other doubt, you may contact me with a direct question. Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
