How Safe Is Taking Utovlaan For Prolonged Periods?

Hi I ve now had my period for 17 days this has been my first ever long cycle it concerned me so much I went to see my go & he prescribed utovlaan for 2 days to see if this helps. Could my next cycle be prolonged because I stopped this bleed? I don t know the reason fir this extended bleed. Please advise
