sir i had my monthly cycles on 05 nov 11 to 11 nov 11.i took pregnancy test it is positive,i m an married women and have child of 4 yrs.my wt-65 kg.ht-5.2" age-30 yrs.at this period of time i don't want to have child.can i take M.P.Forte miscarriage tablet.and other sugesstion taking M.P.Forte tablet

Hallow Dear,

Tab. M.P.Forte are pills having a combination of Oestrogen and Medroxyprogesterone. These pills are not meant to terminate the pregnancy. Tab. Mifepristone and Tab. Misoprostol are the medicines which are to be used for termination of pregnancy up to 9 weeks of gestation. These medicines are to be taken with an Obstetrician's advice and prescription only. They are quite effective medicines. However, if by chance they fail, the abortion should be completed by surgical evacuation. Continuation of pregnancy is not advised as these medicines can cause developmental abnormalities in the baby.
