How Safe Is Using Dalacin Vaginal Ovules During Periods?

My doctor prescribed "Dalacin Vaginal Ovules" that I am to take for six days. I am due to menstruate in the next few days. Can I use this medicine while on my period? I am asks to included other info: I am 24, 5'6", 128 lbs, and have no chronic illnesses and am on no other medication.
