How Safe To Take Epitril When Having Depression, Diabetes, Enlarged Prostate?

Sir,my father is suffering from depression as well as diabetes and enlargment of prostate,he was found unconscious some days ago due to low blood pressure,doctor prescribed him to stop all the medicines,after that he is suffering from lack of sleep.he has been prescribed epitril 0.5 in sos,is it safe to take the medicine?

Epitil is a benzodiazepines that can be used for different reason such as anxiety, sedation (help with sleep) as well as for seizure and muscle relaxation.

He can take it as prescribed by his doctor. It would not affect his blood pressure readings.

He would need additional medication to help with depression because medication does not help with this illness.
