How Serious Is An Eye Swelling Caused By An Injury?

I hit my head on the concrete Friday night I had a knot on my head Saturday and Sunday I was fine with the same knot today I woke up and my eye is swollen looks like a black eye. Is this serious or normal for that matter. I would think it would turn black the next day not 3 days later?

Give cold cmpressin over swelling.Black eye will go slowly notreatment is needed. Vision of both eye betested fundus examination should be done.Take combi flam tablet after food for 5days. Noworry every thing will be alright.
