How Should A Finger Fracture With Tingling And Pain Be Treated?

I injured my right ring finger one year ago. A ball hit the palm side of my finger. My familyd doctor said at the time maybe I had a small fracture. It has left a lump/bump on the inside of the middle finger joint that faces anatomically towards the index finger. My finger clicks in this bump area when I bend it. Also tingling in this area, pain radiating into top of hand. Nothing has changed for the better. I had an xray 5 months ago which showed a lump on the bone. I've had physiotherapy etc and the symptoms remain the same, not improving. Pain and clicking is worse. Do I need to see a hand specialist or surgery for something like this?
