How Should A Jawbone Hard Knot Due To A Injury Be Treated?

Hi my name is PFC Boyd, a soldier in Iraq, I have a hard knot on the bottom right Jaw Bone. It is actually on the bone not in my mouth. Granted I feel yesterday backwards and hit my head so that may have something to do with it but what do you think it is ?
