How Should A Tiny Extra Tongue Inside The Throat Be Treated?

My 3 yr old was saying ahh and we were looking down her throat with a flashlight, when at the back of her throat, I saw what looks like a tiny extra tongue sticking out. It is not her uvula, it s below that and comes up from where her tongue does. It looks like a tiny extra tongue!!! What is it? Should we go to the doctor??
