How Should A Wolf Spider Bite Causing Numbness And Scabbing Be Treated?

my brother has a spider bite that is very red and slowly getting bigger and he says its so numb he could stab it with a pen and not feel a thing and when it scabs over sometimes the skin comes off please help its slowly getting worse we think it was a wolf spider please help

A wolf spiders are common in homes and gardens and their bite is certainly painful and might be a traumatic experience but it is often not as harmful as feared. The material injected during bite has a neurotoxic local effect and hence the reaction and numbness. In general, applying an antibiotic ointment and some emollient is helpful. Also take some antiallergic like levocetirizine along for a few days. The numbness and redness should subside in a few days. But it might be worthwhile to visit a doctor and get it examined to rule out something worse.
