How Should Ankle Swelling, Tightness With Infection Be Treated?

hi i have an infected ankle.. been diagnosed as cellulitis. Been on augmentin for about 5 days now after being in hospital on a drip with antibiotics.. They seem to be doing the job well but the wound is still swollen and tight around the ankle area. I also twisted the ankle whilst out running! just wondered what your advice is?
