How Should Bicuspid Valve Regurgitation With Heart Palpitations Be Treated?
I have a bicuspid valve that is regurgitating. My cardiologist told me on a scle of 0-4 it is has a regurgitating rate of 2. He also said if it comes up to a 3 we have to talk about surgury.Recently, I started to work out on a elliptical machine. 4 times in the past two weeks for 25 inutes each time. I now feel my heart skipping more often all the time. I have my girlfriend listen to the uncomfortable feeling of my heart skipping from the regurgitation and every time I feel my heart skip she would tap my arm at the same time letting me know when she hears it. I am concerned that working out on the elliptical can furthur damage my bicuspid valve and increase the regurgitation and skipping of the heart. I don't want to be a lazy man that can never stay in shape because of the regurgitating bicuspid valve.What do you think?

The impact of regular training on patients with Bicuspid Aortic Valve and its natural course is still not fully clarified.But if your heart dimensions are worsening or your symptoms are worsening then you need definite treatment for this.
