How Should Chest And Breathing Pain Be Treated?

I am a "base" for cheerleading and have been catching my "flyer" by putting my chest forward to help break her fall --- I am now experiencing chest pain with movement of my upper torso. After cheer practice, turning the steering wheel is very painful. Deep breath hurt and there is is a sharp pain when bending forward.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern. Possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more likely because your pain is associated with movements (bending forward).
So follow these steps for better symptomatic relief in musculoskeletal pain.
1. Apply warm water pad on affected areas of chest.
2. Avoid movements causing pain.
3. Sit with proper back support.
4. Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs like ibuprofen and thiocolchicoside.
5. Avoid strenuous exercise.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these in 2-3 days.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
