My son who is 13 just recently started complaining of his eyes burning and he is always blinking them and even crossing them just to relieve the burning feeling. There are no more symptoms just that. Should I call his eye doctor or is there something else I can do to help him?
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that your son is complaining of burning pain in the eyes. In this age group eye pain needs to be evaluated to rule out refractive error. The other causes that need to be considered are allergic conjunctivitis and other inflammatory conditions of the eye. Hence I advice you to consult your eye doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this information is helpful to you.
Thank you With regards
