How Should Fibroids And Endometriosis Causing Heavy Periods, Stomach Bloating Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with fibroids and endomitriosis 2yrs ago. I also had a womb biopsy which was negative. I am 52 and still have periods every 3wks which are very heavy for 2-3days. I keep very fit, but have noticed my stomach is bloated and firm to touch. I saw my GP and have 3wks to wait for my scan. Should I be very worried? Karen.
