How Should I Continue Levothyroxine Despite Having Normal Thyroid Levels?

Good afternoon,
I've been taking .50 Levothyroxine for over 6 months. The last time I had blood test it was balanced. I'm due to have the tablets for another month tomorrow. I have not noticed anything different since I've started the medication. Do I need to continue taking the tablets?

HI
Welcome to H C M
I am Dr B M GUPTA answering your question
Yes
Ccntinue the drug and maintain T S H LEVEL between 2.5 TO 3 mcU/ml
Get blood test for TSH every 4 to 8 weeks interval unless it comes less than 0.4 mcU/ml At that level your doctor would reduce the dose 12.5 mcg every time
Thanks
