How Should Knee Twisting With Crepitus, Pain And Swelling Be Treated?

I was playing basketball, jumped for a layup, and when I landed, I seemed to have twisted my knee and I heard A LOT of pops and cracks. I cannot bear any weight on it. It is very swollen and extremely painful. I have NO INSURANCE since I am unemployed because the company I worked for filed Bankrupcy
