Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Should Low Ejaculation And Erection Levels Be Treated?
I have been dating a man for almost two years. We have had sex numerous of times through out these years but out of all he has only ejaculated twice. He is able to have an erection but while intercourse his erection goes away. What can be the problem?
I went through your details. Your boy friend's problem could be Erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence is sexual dysfunction characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis during sexual activity.
The most important organic causes are cardiovascular disease and diabetes, neurological problems (for example, trauma from prostatectomy surgery), hormonal insufficiencies (hypogonadism) and drug side effects. Psychological impotence is where erection or penetration fails due to thoughts or feelings (psychological reasons) rather than physical impossibility. I suggest you to ask your boy friend to consult a physician for evaluation first and then, if satisfactory, consult a psychologist.
