How Should Severe Vaginal Bleeding And Clotting Be Treated?

I had a hysterectomy in May and have had no problems with sex, but this time after my husband used a large dildo on me I had severe bleeding after even some clots. After I had a shower the bleeding has slowed down, but I still have blood when I wipe. It has been about 3hrs since. What could be wrong?
