How Soon Can I Move My Toes After Getting Stitches Done?

I got a laceration to the joint of top of my big toe Last night. I went to the hospital and got 3 stitches. I could not use or move my toe last night and I still have no use of my toe. The doctor did nothing but put stitches in it. Is it okay that I still can t use it move my toe?

Hello,

Regarding your concern, I would explain that the limitations of movements could be related to the pain and swelling in this region. But, in the next days, if you have difficulty in moving your toe, I recommend discussing with a foot surgeon, because it could be a nerve damage, which may need surgery.
