How Soon Can I Take A Pregnancy Test Inspite Of Having Late Periods?

After my first intercourse this month's period becomes delay. Already 8 days gone but still it's not started. Before two days ago I had pain in my body also. We did sex so many times till today after the first session, he used condom 2/3 times and either used condom or not he always de-charge sperm outside vagina. So we believe that intentionally sperm never injected inside.

Can you please let me know, approx how many days it could be late normally? I am so worried cause we are not still mentally prepared to have a baby. Should I take test with a pregnancy tester? or I need to wait as only 8 days passed after my regular expected date.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
- When a girl starts her sexual life , her hormonal pattern & menstrual cycle gets changed due to change in her psychology/ feelings.
_ So the delay you have may be natural effect. AT THE SAME TIME, conception is also possible in any woman having normal/ovulating menstrual cycle-Even if one uses withdrawal method & ejaculates out side the vagina- Precum does have sufficient sperms to cause conception.
-Pregnancy test can be done
- Home pregnancy test of urine- after 8-10 days of delay in periods.
- Blood pregnancy test is sensitive around expected day of periods.
- In Case you want to avoid pregnancy , you should get a gynecologist's advice & start using suitable contraceptive regularly- rather than getting tense every month/ doing pregnancy test/ getting MTP done.
