How To Abort An Early Pregnancy Confirmed Through A HPT?

hi ....i got my periods on 6th dec.now i have missed them.on 14th i went thru pregnancy test and found it positive.second line is light pink.i am a feeding mom.we don't want baby now .as it is too early after first baby.please suggest me the next step to abort the baby

I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.

There are many ways to abort a pregnancy.
I will explain two most common methods.
1. medical abortion: done by using pills upto 9 weeks best results before 7 weeks of pregnancy.
2. surgical procedure: by dilatation and evacuation or MVA. done up to 12 weeks.
3. extraamniotic instillation: done till 20 weeks.

A medical termination is legal in India till 20 weeks. Kindly check the law in you country of residence.
However, abortion is not always a safe procedure and is associated with some risk depending upon the type of procedure. It is best avoided if possible. If it has to be done, it must be done under the guidance of an expert medical practitioner, a gynecologist and in a facility where a surgical procedure may be performed if needed.

I suggest you consult a specialist and discuss all these issues and then decide about future course of action.
