How To Abort Pregnancy?
Hello Doc, I'm a 24 yr old lady, I recently came to know that i'm pregnant (after doing a pregnancy test through strip at home). My last period was in mid of december 2010. I already have a 4 month old baby, and I and my husband decided not to carry this pregnancy, please suggest the best and easy ways of abortion at this situation.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.in my opinion the medical termination of pregnancy is possible upto 6-7 weeks.After 7 weeks termination is done by surgical procedure like D&C.Dont take medicines for termination on your own.Always take them under doctor supervision as they are associated with complications like heavy bleeding,incomplete abortion.Medical abortion is successful in 95% of cases if taken within stipulated time.After termination follow contraception methods like IUCD or hormonal pills.
