General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to tell you that you should go to an emergency as soon as possible. The main constituent of Harpic is HCl which is very harmful to the mucosa and can cause erosion s or perforation s of both the respiratory tract and the GI tract.

You should not induce vomiting as it will cause more damage. You may need to get an endoscopy done to assess the damage caused.

Get yourself checked by a gastroenterologist as he will be able to decide the further course of action.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma Amman
