welcome to healthcare magic,
the poor aunt needs integrated management for her diabetes, fracture and pressure sore(the worst thing). For diabetes blood sugar level is to be closely monitored at least 4 times a day, before and 2 hours after breakfast, after mid day meal and after dinner. Insulin is preferred medication and optimal dose is to be given to ensure good glycemic control.

as she is supposed to confined to bed for a couple of weeks or months, mobilising excercise is vital to avoid stiffness and for this physiotherapy would help you a lot.

her condition demands great care regarding posture, diet.she should be move on each side every 2 hours, needs a pneumatic bed to avoid further sores on weight bearing pionts.
bed should be covered with clean, dry sheets without any wrinkles, avoid plastic sheet in bed.keep the body dry and clean, prevent from soiling and wetting.
ensure balanced diet specially rich in protein stuff,a lot of citric fruits and fresh vegetables.
bed sores commands a special attention.don't rub or puncture the blisters.have regular of the wound already burst.avoid pressure on these ,apply a sterile bandage on the wound.
wishing a speedy recovery.

Hi,
I suggest you to take her to an Orthopaedician. Being a diabetic, she needs to be mobilised early. Bed sores will be the worst thing to happen in a diabetic. If she sustained a hip fracture and is in pain, she will definitely require surgery.
Its not at all advisable to keep her at home and manage her bed sores. I strongly recommend you to take her to an orthopaedician at the earliest.
