How To Avoid Burning Sensation Caused In Throat While Taking Amlodipine For BP?

The blood pressure meds Propranolol dissolved in my throat and caused me to cough,,,my doctor changed my prescription to Amlodepine 2.5. It also melts in my throat and a feeling of burning, then coughing. Is there a blood pressure medication with a coating? I have medicare and AARP. v

Not for amlopine,but you can change antihyipertensive medicine if necessary or crush it in water. Also,you can take one spoon of honey after pill. It should help to relieve these symptoms.
