i m 19 yr old . i have used mifeprin kit to abort my 5 weeks pregnancy. after using one 200mg of mifepristone tablet, leaving 1 day gap i took 4 misoprostal 200mcg each orally at a time after 2 hour later i bleed heavily but at the 3'rd hour i vomit. after that i bleed heavily about 2 days . After 2 days i used to bleed moderately for continuous 1 week after that there was gap of 1 day .but after that gap i again started to bleed so that i have to use about 2 pads a day.today is 18 days from the first day of bleeding and i m still bleeding. Please tell me whether i should use any other medicine to stop bleeding because i m in the situation that i can't go for scan test.

Hello dear
Understand your concern
Always use abortion pill under supervision of gynecologist to prevent complication. For better treatment you should consult the gynecologist for USG scan. Medicine is not permanent treatment.
Bleeding after 18 days of abortion is not normal and following are the causes:
1. Incomplete abortion/retain product of conception: Some part of conception may be remain inside the uterus and bleed continuous, Should be diagnosed by USG and treatment is misoprostol or D & C.
2. Ectopic pregnancy: As you did abortion without prior scan there may be chance of ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy can not abort by misoprostol and mifepristone. Diagnose by USG and treated by surgery
3. Choricarcinoma: sometime placental cell by invasion into uterine wall convert in to the malignant cell and produce placental cell malignancy.
diagnose by USG scan and Blood HCG. Treatment is surgery plus methotrexate
4. Infection: sometime vaginal and pelvic infections causes bleeding as incomplete abortion may increase risk of infections. Diagnose by swab test and CBC. Treatment is antibiotic course like cefexime.
Hope this may help you
Thanks and regards
