How To Avoid Side Effects Of Synthroid ?

I have been on synthroid for 15 years and have had many unpleasant side effect; not sleeping, anxiety, weight gain and recently estrogen based breast cancer. Now, I am want to go on a natural thyroid medication. I have self split the synthroid in 1/2 and feel so much better. What should I do?

In thyroid replacement therapy we have to replace the amount which is required...
For that we have to monitor TSH and Free T4.Peoper replacement won't cause these unwanted effects....
Hence I feel the dosage is not proper .
If you are feeling comfortable with 1/2 ,could be two reasons

1.You were taking more than the required dose..
2.Your feeling of taking more dose ...

please do the Thyroid profile and consult a physician or endocrinologist.....
