How To Avoid Unwanted Pregnancy After Unprotected Sex?

My last menstrual cycle started on 30 March 2011 and ended on next day morning. Today 5th April 2011, I had sex with my friend. He did not release sperm, but not sure. Is this safe day or I should take ECP (i-pill) in order to rule out pregnancy. Please advice me as I need to take within 72 hours from now. I want to avoid ECP as I know that it has many side effects (which I read on many internet web sites) and not good for body unless it is unavoidable.

Hi.

It is always best to take the ipill when in doubt as conception can occur anytime unprotected sexual intercourse takes place when you are not on your period. Of course the most chances are when you are ovulating, but I would still recommend the ipill so please go ahead.

Best wishes.
