How To Calculate The Total Number Of Weeks Pregnant?
i found out on the 30th of august i was pregnant, the test said 3+ weeks, i went to my doctor and she said your prob 5 weeks or over, i cant remember my last period in july and stresssing out about dates, how many weeks over could ya be, it says 3+ weeks then im more than 5 weeks, can you help me

If you are not sure about your dates, then the best way to get it sorted out is to have a repeat sonogram after a couple of weeks and correlate the findings to arrive at a conclusion. A trans-vaginal sonogram would be more helpful than a pelvic ultrasound. A relatively appropriate age of gestation can be obtained this way with a margin of about a week. Else, you can also get the serum beta-hCG titres estimated, though this is not a fool-proof method. Hope this helps.
