Hello and welcome,

The description suggests that it is a bartholins cyst that has infected and become an abscess. It will take another 24 hours for it to become fit to drain.

It is better to get it drained and a procedure called marsupilisation is done that prevents its recurrence. Take pain killers like acetaminophen to help decrease the pain. Hot fomentation also helps. I suggest that you seek an appointment with your gynecologist and get it drained as soon as pus is formed and get it marsupilised to prevent recurrence.
Hope this satisfies your query.
