How To Check For Pregnancy?

I starting taking homeopathic hcg drops, 20 drops total. That same day I was given a urine pregnancy test at Urgent Care before they did x-rays on my foot. It came back positive. Took home pregnancy test next day and it was negative. I'm confused. Could that few of drops given a false positive?

HCG supplements are not regulated by the FDA so there are no studies that check the levels of HCG that a particular dose of drops create in your body. Theoretically it makes sense that taking HCG could possibly cause a false positive test. It is advisable to stop taking HCG if you are trying to become pregnant as its effects on conception are unknown. I hope this is helpful and good luck.
