How To Cleanse Erceflora From Eyes Caused After An Accident?

Hi doc! My 6 month old daughter was recently diagnosed with amoebiasis. We are giving her metronidazole, erceflora, and hydrite for fluid loss. I am just worried because when her grandmother was giving the erceflora medication (directly my mouth and because they were kinda playing so that she will happily take the medication) some were accidentally dropped on her left eye. We tried to wash it off, but still crazy worried coz i know that its spores and healthy bacteria but its on eyes. Should we be really worried? Thanks in advance

welcome to HCM

Erceflora/Prebiotics wont cause much harm to the eye as the ph of it verymuch around 7.

And even if by any chance if it had to damage - only the superficial layer of the cornea(dark part of the eye ball) would ge abraded;

The superficial layer of cornea gets regenerated within 24 to 48 hours;

and to prevent any superadded infection i would sugget you to instill antibiotic drops such as tobramycin (1drop for 3 times in a day for 5 days)

hope this helps
