How To Confirm Menopause?

Hi there, I m 42 have regular periods. My period is 7 days late but I have all symptoms of period coming on ie. light cramping, very sore heavy boobs, dull stitch like pain in right side. I had one failed ivf last year and one failed this year. Could it be peri menopause?
