How To Confirm Pregnancy While Having Faint Positive Test Result?
My period is two weeks late. Last month it was a week late. I did a pregnancy test, it had a faint positive result, I have cramps, pressure in my lower area, and white dIscharge. Can I be pregnant? I ve been late a couple times before, I m freaking out
Hi there,I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
If you have history of regular cycles and if you have history of unprotected sex activity, then I will suggest you to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of any doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.
If you want to terminate the pregnancy, then you can opt to terminate it with pills safely till 7 weeks of pregnancy. If you want to continue with the pregnancy then please consult your gynecologist and start with Folic acid, vitamin B 12 and Onega 3 supplements.
I hope this answer helps you. Thanks. Dr.Purushottam Neurgaonkar
